The winner of the easiest sign installation contest: Painted Stand Alone Letters come out of the box and leap onto the counter, aisle, or shelf in an instant. A favorite of schools, offices, and shops, the letters are attached to a base that sits on any flat surface.

Before they are painted, we cut the words (or letter) from Baltic Birch plywood, the strongest wood material we carry. The pieces are sanded, assembled, and then coated with a smooth finish matte acrylic paint. The the wood grain pattern subtly shows through the painted finish, lending a handmade look with a professional touch. Each word is cut as one piece unless specified otherwise.

Shipping Note: It is common for words to span a few feet in length depending on the letter height ordered. Words exceeding 26 inches in length may be subject to actual shipping charges which may be more than what is shown in the shopping cart at the conclusion of your order. We will contact you if actual shipping charges apply to your order.

Font Height

The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify. Depending on the font, some uppercase/lowercase letters may be shorter or taller than the height you specify on the order form so they will look proportionate to each other. Therefore, you may receive some of your lettering in different dimensions than the letter height ordered. If all lettering is ordered in lower case, we still scale the lettering to an uppercase "A" which will make most of the letters smaller than what was ordered. Please contact us if you would like to size your lettering differently from our standards. Please see examples below:

Fractions: Order the next size up and indiciate in the comments field the exact height you want your letters. For example, to order 2 5/8 Inch height, order 3 Inch and write in the comments "Cut at 2 5/8 Inches"
