Stand alone lettering is a quick and easy way to install signage indoors. A popular product with schools, retail stores, and government offices, stand alone letters are on a base and sit nicely on counter tops, store aisles, and any other flat surface. The smaller sizes are great for desk names and reception areas. We cut these wooden stand alone letters letters from indoor-rated Baltic Birch Plywood, one of the strongest wood materials available. Our stand alone letters come in 3/8" or 1/2" thicknesses and can be sized up to 16" tall. The 3/8" thickness is cut with a laser that leaves a dark edge and 1/2" thickness is cut with a router that leaves a clean edge. Each word is cut as one piece unless specified otherwise and will arrive sanded smooth. Shipping Note: It is common for words to span a few feet in length depending on the letter height ordered. Words exceeding 26 inches in length may be subject to actual shipping charges which may be more than what is shown in the shopping cart at the conclusion of your order. Font Height

The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify. Depending on the font, some uppercase/lowercase letters may be shorter or taller than the height you specify on the order form so they will look proportionate to each other. Therefore, you may receive some of your lettering in different dimensions than the letter height ordered. If all lettering is ordered in lower case, we still scale the lettering to an uppercase "A" which will make most of the letters smaller than what was ordered. Please contact us if you would like to size your lettering differently from our standards. Please see examples below:

Fractions: Order the next size up and indiciate in the comments field the exact height you want your letters. For example, to order 2 5/8 Inch height, order 3 Inch and write in the comments "Cut at 2 5/8 Inches"
