3/8 Inch Thick Acrylic Letters

Acrylic lettering is a great choice for custom lettering and logos. The laser cutters cut each letter with precision, capturing every detail of the style selected. This process is ideal for cutting out your logos and symbols cost-effectively. Unless otherwise specified, all flat cut acrylic orders are cut with high speed lasers which produce a sharpness of cut unobtainable by router cutting. The heat of laser cutting also polishes the edges. Lettering in photo is 1/4" thick & shapes are 1/8" thick

LETTER SIZING INFO

The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify. Some uppercase/lowercase letters are shorter (or taller) than the height you specify on the order form so that they will look proportionate to each other. For example, if you wanted to order the name, Ashley, and you ordered all the letters the same size, you would get the following letter sizes in relation to each other.

SELECT MOUNTING OPTION:

Plain Mount
Includes no mounting hardware. These are usually mounted with a silicone another type of adhesive.

Double Face Tape
Tape is 3M #4930 - 25 mil. Tape for use in most applications. You will need to verify if this works for your application.

Stud Mount
Usually includes a 3/16"diameter 10-24 stud coming out the back. A template is recommended to show you where the holes need to be drilled. The holes will then be filled with silicone adhesive and the studs will be pressed into the holes.

Stud Flush Mount
Includes a stud drill directly into the back of the letter to allow it to sit flush against the wall. A template is recommended to show you where the holes need to be drilled. Fill hole with silicone.

Combination Mount
Includes a stud going through a pad to hold the lettering away from the wall. You would drill a 1/4" diam. hole to accomodate the stud. Apply silicone to back of pad and in hole with silicone.

DO YOU WANT A FULL SIZE MOUNTING TEMPLATE SENT WITH YOUR LETTERING?

The mounting templates for lettering consist of a paper template with the outline of the letters with the typical spacing between the letters and words. This will help orient your letters appropriately in relation to each other. After the templates are printed out, the outline of the lettters are cut through in usually two areas of the profile of the letter to allow you to hang up the template and trace part of the letter outline on the wall. (Click on the photo to enlarge.) The lettering can then be applied to the wall with an adhesive, two sided foam tape or can be screwed into the wall area.
