Natural Satin Aluminum Letters are by far the most popular type of metal letters we sell. They look like stainless steel, but are less expensive and much lighter weight. Customers love the look of the vertical grain down the face of the letter that catches the light and produces a matte shine that can appear to glow at certain angles. Natural satin aluminum letters fit in with upscale and urban, look professional on any facade, and will not rust or tarnish.
For outdoor applications, we recommend ordering mounting studs and template. The paper template shows the location of the studs and the proper alignment and spacing of the lettering. Mounting studs are threaded prongs that screw into the back of the letter, are coated with construction grade adhesive, and set in holes drilled into the wall. Spacers are available for offset mounting that can create more dimension for the letters on the surface and produce a nice drop shadow. Indoor applications can be hung with adhesive or stud mounting.
Natural Satin letters can be produced quickly and will ship within 5 business days or can be rushed to arrive even sooner than that if needed.
Font Height
The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify.
Depending on the font, some uppercase/lowercase letters may be shorter or taller than the height
you specify on the order form so they will look proportionate to each other. Therefore, you may
receive some of your lettering in different dimensions than the letter height ordered. If all
lettering is ordered in lower case, we still scale the lettering to an uppercase "A" which will
make most of the letters smaller than what was ordered. Please contact us if you would like to
size your lettering differently from our standards. Please see examples below:
Fractions: Order the next size up and indiciate in the comments field the exact height you want your letters.
For example, to order 2 5/8 Inch height, order 3 Inch and write in the comments "Cut at 2 5/8 Inches"
