Metal faced foam letters feature a brushed or polished metal face with lightweight high density (18 lb/cubic foot) foam backing that can painted on the sides with a high grade paint. The foam is a rigid lightweight material offered in a charcoal color or it can be painted one a standard or custom color for an additional cost. The metal or acrylic face is laminated onto the foam using a combination of heat, high pressure, and chemical bonding. We offer 8 different metal laminates in various finishes that flash with metallic luster as well as a brilliant acrylic colors that appear to pop off the wall. The back of the letter is reinforced with .030 ABS plastic backing. The foam laminate letters are designed for indoors, but can be installed outside in temperate weather under a cover. Laminate foam letters are easy to mount using a high grade adhesive because they are lightweight, but stud mounting is available too for extra security.
Metal faced foam is an inexpensive alternative to solid metal letters. Offered in large sizes and material up to 3 inches thick for big bold sign lettering. All metal faced foam letters are made custom per order and custom fonts, logos and colors can be produced with ease. Colors and finishes may vary from the screen. Ships within 5-7 business days. Font Height
The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify.
Depending on the font, some uppercase/lowercase letters may be shorter or taller than the height
you specify on the order form so they will look proportionate to each other. Therefore, you may
receive some of your lettering in different dimensions than the letter height ordered. If all
lettering is ordered in lower case, we still scale the lettering to an uppercase "A" which will
make most of the letters smaller than what was ordered. Please contact us if you would like to
size your lettering differently from our standards. Please see examples below:
Fractions: Order the next size up and indiciate in the comments field the exact height you want your letters.
For example, to order 2 5/8 Inch height, order 3 Inch and write in the comments "Cut at 2 5/8 Inches"
