Cor-Ten steel is commonly used for bridges, architecture, and outdoor art installments, and looks exquisite as steel metal letters as well. This material is designed to gracefully rust as a self-protectant, and once cured, stabilizes to last generations. Available in natural or antinque, these hot rolled steel letters will have a natural occuring variance from letter to letter. The rusty finish will tend to "bleed" onto the installation surface when installed outdoors which gives the sign a sense of old tradition.
The thinner 1/8" letters can be plain mounted or studs can be welded on for an additional cost. Studs and template are included in the cost of the 1/4" thickness. The paper template shows the location of the studs and the proper alignment and spacing of the lettering. Mounting studs are threaded prongs that screw into the back of the letter, are coated with construction grade adhesive, and set in holes drilled into the wall. Spacers are available for offset mounting that can create more dimension for the letters on the surface and produce a nice drop shadow.

Font Height
The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify.
Depending on the font, some uppercase/lowercase letters may be shorter or taller than the height
you specify on the order form so they will look proportionate to each other. Therefore, you may
receive some of your lettering in different dimensions than the letter height ordered. If all
lettering is ordered in lower case, we still scale the lettering to an uppercase "A" which will
make most of the letters smaller than what was ordered. Please contact us if you would like to
size your lettering differently from our standards. Please see examples below:
Fractions: Order the next size up and indiciate in the comments field the exact height you want your letters.
For example, to order 2 5/8 Inch height, order 3 Inch and write in the comments "Cut at 2 5/8 Inches"
