Bathed in luxury, brass lettering enriches interiors and is guaranteed to last a lifetime outside. Polished brass letters are the ultimate in sign lettering because they look like pure gold. Professional offices and high end shops and businesses look for brass lettering to convey tradition and permanence. The brass signs are cut with a water jet that uses a fine stream of water to follow the contours of the path with extreme precision.

The standard finish is natural satin, a beautiful vertical grain that runs down the face of the letter that catches the light and makes the letter appear to glow. Oxidized and dark oxidized finishes lend an oil-rubbed antique look. Polished brass makes it look like your sign was touched by King Midas himself.

We include studs and template with all flat cut brass letters that are 1/4" or thicker. The paper template shows the location of the studs and the proper alignment and spacing of the lettering. Mounting studs are threaded prongs that screw into the back of the letter, are coated with construction grade adhesive, and set in holes drilled into the wall. Spacers are available for offset mounting that can create more dimension for the letters on the surface and produce a nice drop shadow. Unless specified for stud mount at an additional cost, 1/8" letters are plain mount and can be mounted with adhesive. Letters must be stud mounted for polished finishes.

Font Height

The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify. Depending on the font, some uppercase/lowercase letters may be shorter or taller than the height you specify on the order form so they will look proportionate to each other. Therefore, you may receive some of your lettering in different dimensions than the letter height ordered. If all lettering is ordered in lower case, we still scale the lettering to an uppercase "A" which will make most of the letters smaller than what was ordered. Fractions: Order the next size up and indiciate in the comments field the exact height you want your letters. For example, to order 2 5/8 Inch height, order 3 Inch and write in the comments "Cut at 2 5/8 Inches"
