Producing the look of natural satin metal sign letters for half the cost, these aluminum sided letters are plastic sandwiched between two sheets of aluminum. Commonly called DiBond letters, the 1/8 inch thick lettering shines in finishes like brushed bronze, gold, or silver letter, or can be coated in one of the many highly durable automotive-grade paint colors. Color matching is available for an additional fee. Add dimension and stability with the stud mount option which will project the lettering ½ inch off the surface and cast a nice drop shadow. Sturdier than acrylic, DiBond is ideal for larger lettering and logos, or areas where the lettering must stand up to harsh elements.
The brushed metal finish will have visible layers on the sides, the solid color finish will be painted on the face and sides. Optional stud mounting includes ½ inch long clear plastic tabs adhered to the back of the letter, threaded aluminum studs, and a mounting template to show the location of the studs and proper alignment. Font Height
The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify.
Depending on the font, some uppercase/lowercase letters may be shorter or taller than the height
you specify on the order form so they will look proportionate to each other. Therefore, you may
receive some of your lettering in different dimensions than the letter height ordered. If all
lettering is ordered in lower case, we still scale the lettering to an uppercase "A" which will
make most of the letters smaller than what was ordered. Please contact us if you would like to
size your lettering differently from our standards. Please see examples below:
Fractions: Order the next size up and indiciate in the comments field the exact height you want your letters.
For example, to order 2 5/8 Inch height, order 3 Inch and write in the comments "Cut at 2 5/8 Inches"
