About Woodland Manufacturing
The humble beginnings of Woodland Manufacturing, Inc. started in a garage on a brisk January day in 2001. The idea that launched the company was a new type of cutting machine for wooden craft letters. The machine, nicknamed “The Beast,” controlled 6 scroll saws all linked to one computer. This wild invention provided enough growth for the company to purchase additional equipment such as a computer controlled laser and routing machines, and thus The Beast was retired.
By the fall of 2003, the company moved into an industrial manufacturing facility near Boise, Idaho to
meet the production needs of the increasing number of orders. We still make a lot of wood letters for
indoors and out, but we also make vinyl letters, plastic letters, and metal letters, utilizing top-of-the-line
precision laser, router, and water jet cutting machines. Our shop houses a professional paint booth and
powder coat oven for pristine color finishes as well as machines for graining and smoothing metal.
Over the years, we have hired numerous talented people in customer service and production so we can offer a rich sign making experience for our customer from start to finish. The vast complexities of our well-equipped shop and knowledgeable staff allow us to help customers create the sign of their dreams.
